Physical Therapy we can evaluate and treat
patients without a referral? This is known as
DIRECT ACCESS. Direct access is the process by
which you, the patient, are able to directly
consult with a physical therapist, WITHOUT a
physician's referral! There are plenty of
advantages to this process:
* Reduces
health care costs
* Allows
for prompt attention and services
* Gives
you the ability to choose your physical therapy
provider
* Referral
is NOT required
* If
and when applicable, we will suggest that you see
your physician and we will send our results to
your physician and will work together with him /
her.
